The Rams signed defensive tackle Daniel Muir from the Colts. He has been starting there for 2 years now and is a good addition. He and Bannan will battle for the starting job with the other being in the rotation. Either way, we got a new starter which is a positive. In the last 2 season Muir has 90 tackles, which is a lot. Muir will be a nice addition because we are constantly rotating players along the defensive line. He has to prove he deserves this starting job and has to compete hard.
The Rams search for a backup running back continues. Still the Rams haven't signed anyone, and some fans are becoming impatient even though there is a lot of options still remaining. Linked to the Rams are RB Ronnie Brown from the Dolphins, Jerome Harrison from the Eagles, Jason Snelling from the Falcons, and Jerious Norwood from the Falcons. I'd be ecstatic with Brown or Snelling as my 1a and 1b options. Harrison would be cheaper and I am sure he'd make an adequate backup too. Norwood in my opinion solves nothing because he is only a change of pace back and I'd still like to sign someone else if we grabbed Norwood.
